Rei is Astraine's non-blood-related little sister. She's a lantern fish monster, so she glows in the dark with the little light on her head. She fights by blinding the player making their soul invisible in the darkness of the hit box. She's very shy and usually shuffles her hands in her sleeves. She wears a large ribbon around her waist which is usually makes many think she's a performer. Her power is tremendous, due to her knowing quite a bit in the martial arts. She'd fight a human but she'd to too shy to even approach, which is why if you ever see her in battle it's by Astraine's side. She is constantly smothered by Astraine which is why she moved to hotland, she couldn't stand being hugged on a daily basis. She works for Mettaton as a waitress.

Astraine and Rei met when they were children, Rei is 3 years younger. The two agreed to stay with each other once they had learned they both didn't have a family. Astraine being the energetic one, ran around snowdin to show everyone her new sister. Rei was however to shy to say hello. However as the two grew Rei decided to move to Hotland, Astraine stayed in Snowdin due to the fact that she had feared the magma of Hotland. Everyonce in a while Rei will visit Snowdin only to find Astraine tackle her with joy that her adorable little sister has returned.
